For any allergies and dietary intolerances, please let our waiting team know so they can best assist you when ordering food. Our menus will also clearly label all fourteen allergen groups as declared by food law.
Our beach huts are open and can be used for drinks & food service on a first come basis. Please let our staff know your beach hut number when ordering food from the inside Wittering bar and outside Hut.
If you can no longer make your reservation, we kindly ask you to please cancel by following the link on your confirmation email or calling The Wittering on 01243 513811 with as much notice as possible.
We welcome well-behaved children of any age when accompanied by an adult in The Wittering during lunchtime and dinner service. We offer a children’s menu and have baby changing facilities in our main East room.
We love our furry friends but only allow well behaved dogs on a lead into bar, dining & garden areas of The Wittering. No dogs are allowed in the accommodation areas.
For parties over 6 people or for private events, please email info@thewittering.com or call The Wittering on 02143 513811 . Group reservations will be subject to a deposit to confirm the booking.
We have onsite timed free parking for patrons and guests staying at The Wittering. Guests will be asked for their car registration details upon arrival. Cars found in our carpark not belonging to patrons of The Wittering will incur penalty charges for which The Wittering will not be held liable.
For private events or special occasion enquiries, please email info@thewittering.com and our management team will be in touch. Our bar and music license is until 11.30pm.
The Wittering is located on the B2179 road which is served by The Witterings bus routes 52/53 to and from Chichester town and train station. The bus stop is right outside The Wittering front door. Our nearest train station is Chichester which is serviced by the Southern Train line with trains direct to Brighton, London, Portsmouth and Southampton Central.
Our menus are seasonal and support local producers so will be regularly changing. There will always be a vegan option on our menus. The dishes will be clearly labelled vegan (VE) and vegetarian (V) alongside an allergen key at the footer of our menus.
The Wittering is located minutes away by foot, bike or car to West Wittering beach and Easthead. There is a charge to park in the West Wittering beach car park and it is advisable to pre-book parking in advance via the Just Park app and website.
Wireless internet is available throughout The Wittering free of charge.
